Job Description

Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full-Time Forensic Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg in Nashville, Tennessee. We are offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus. Day or Night shifts are available.

This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.

Responsibilities

• Compassionately communicate with patients and family members.
• Admit and assess patients.
• Administer medication and treatments.
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms.
• Run and order tests.
• Coordinate care with physicians and specialists.
• Chart patient progress.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited associate degree, diploma, or baccalaureate degree program in Nursing (preferred).
• Current licensure or permit to practice as a Registered Nurse in Tennessee or a compact state.
• Valid BLS upon hire; ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency, and CPI required within 90 days of hire.
