Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full Time Registered Nurse (RN), Med/Surg in Nashville, Tennessee. We are offering up to a $10,000 sign on bonus.

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced Med/Surg Registered Nurse (RN) for our Medical Surgical Unit who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member. This is an 18-bed unit with a 4:1 patient ratio.

As a Med/Surg RN you will:

• Admit and assess patients
• Administer medication and treatments
• Monitor vital signs and symptoms
• Run and order tests
• Coordinate care with Physicians and Specialists
• Chart Patient Progress

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Compassionate communication with patients and family members
• Attention to detail and organization in managing patient care and records
• Understanding of applicable state regulations and compliance practices
• Accurate assessment and documentation of patient condition
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program (Associate, Diploma, or Baccalaureate preferred)
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state
• Valid BLS certification upon hire; ACLS, Chemotherapy Competency, and CPI within 90 days of hire
