Nashville General Hospital is hiring for a Full-Time Registered Nurse (RN), OR Lead in Nashville, Tennessee. We are offering up to a $10,000 sign-on bonus.

Nashville General Hospital seeks to hire an experienced OR Registered Nurse (RN) Lead for our Operating Room Unit (OR) who will embrace our commitment to providing quality care to every patient and family member.

Responsibilities include:

• Demonstrating ability to perform and operate technical equipment.
• Providing leadership, motivation, and clinical expertise in managing and coordinating surgical services to ensure quality patient care.
• Assessing patients' conditions before surgery and providing care during recovery.
• Positioning patients on operating tables and assisting surgeons during procedures.
• Cleaning surgical equipment and maintaining a sterile environment in the operating rooms.
• Educating patients on recovery best practices, including pain management and wound care.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• Accurately assessing patient conditions according to facility charting practices.
• Understanding and complying with applicable state regulations.
• Graduate of an accredited Associate's degree program; Baccalaureate Degree in Nursing preferred.
• Current RN licensure in Tennessee or a compact state; BLS required; ACLS preferred.
• Minimum of five (5) years OR experience with strong negotiation skills and flexibility.
• CPAN and CAPA certifications preferred.
