Job summary

One Medical in Jersey City, NJ is seeking a Team Lead (Practice Coordinator) to oversee daily clinical operations, coaching a patient‑facing team, and delivering high‑quality patient experiences. You will manage scheduling, inventories, billing basics, and partnerships with clinical leadership to drive service excellence.

You will champion practices that improve operational readiness, staff performance, and patient safety while maintaining a friendly, efficient in‑person and virtual care

Qualifications

• At least 1 year of supervisory experience in high-touch customer service or patient-facing healthcare.
• Graduated from a postsecondary Medical Assistant program accredited by CAAHEP/ABHES or equivalent.
• An active Medical Assistant certification from recognized bodies.
• Proven ability to foster collaborative team dynamics and positive culture.
• Experience in healthcare billing and insurance is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensure operational readiness through regular team check-ins and staffing reviews.
• Provide training, coaching, and recognition to team members.
• Drive performance via daily management and metrics.
• Manage inventory, supplies, and expiration tracking.
• Support the financial health through budget review and revenue cycle oversight.
• Monitor NPS responses and handle service recovery escalations as needed.
• Partner with clinical leadership to support quality outcomes and regulatory compliance.
• Apply C-I-CARE in patient interactions and oversee smooth patient flow and billing knowledge.
• Cover front-of-house duties and assist with opening/closing and facility needs.
• Perform clinical duties including venipuncture, EKGs, vitals, vaccines as applicable.
