An established industry player is seeking a dedicated Practice Coordinator to support both administrative and operational functions at a medical facility. This role involves collaborating with medical and administrative staff to ensure efficient patient record management and compliance with health regulations. The Practice Coordinator supports and maintains the practice both administratively and operationally. Administratively, they assist the TH Hospital Medicine (THHM) Facility Medical Director, VP of Client Service, Regional Medical Director, and TH HM provider staff, collaborating with hospital administration to meet all needs. Operationally, they identify and account for each patient seen by hospitalist physicians, obtain, reconcile, and forward all required inpatient medical records to the Billing Center, and maintain accurate data for reporting and dashboards. The Practice Coordinator also works with the facility to gather key metric data and is expected to perform according to productivity standards and target goals set by their supervisor.
Professional behavior, including cooperation, courtesy, and respect, is essential. Ability to work well with others and demonstrate leadership skills such as conflict resolution and negotiation is also important.
This remote position requires independent work, punctuality, and adherence to shipping schedules. The work environment involves prolonged sitting, standing, and use of office equipment, with occasional lifting of light items. Overtime and additional hours may be required.
