Job summary

Godaelli Psychiatry and Mental Health Center is seeking a Practice Administrator to own the business side of the practice, including financial performance, payer relations, revenue cycle, compliance, staff leadership, and daily execution — so clinicians can focus on patient care.

Based in Virginia with offices in Woodbridge and Fredericksburg, this role directs operations, budget, vendor contracts, and growth strategy across multiple states, while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing outpatient medical practice operations.
• 2+ years budget or P&L accountability.
• Experience with payer contracting, credentialing, and revenue cycle.
• Proficiency with EHR/practice management reporting.
• Demonstrated discretion handling confidential personnel and clinical matters, with working knowledge of HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating budget and deliver monthly financial reporting.
• Handle payer contracts, denials, and patient collections.
• Coordinate credentialing and re-credentialing across VA, MD, and DC.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and related regulatory requirements.
• Direct daily clinic operations: intake, scheduling, and no-show reduction.
• Own EHR and practice management systems, telehealth workflows, and vendor contracts.
• Recruit, onboard, supervise non-clinical staff, and onboarding logistics.
• Support growth planning, clinician recruitment, new service lines, and payer mix strategy.
• Oversee referral relationships, marketing, and online reputation.
