Job summary

Godaelli Psychiatry and Mental Health Center is seeking a Practice Administrator to own business operations, financial performance, payer relations, and staff leadership for the practice with offices in Woodbridge, McLean, and Fredericksburg.

The role partners with the Owner/Medical Director on strategy and growth while ensuring clinicians focus on patient care, with on-site duties at the Woodbridge location and growth opportunities in telepsychiatry services.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience.
• 5+ years managing outpatient medical practice operations.
• 2+ years of budget or P&L accountability.
• Experience with payer contracting, credentialing, and revenue cycle.
• Proficiency with EHR/practice management reporting.
• Discretion handling confidential personnel and clinical matters, with working knowledge of HIPAA.

Responsibilities

• Manage operating budget and deliver monthly financial reporting.
• Oversee payer contracts, billing, denials, and appeals.
• Coordinate credentialing and licensure tracking across VA/MD/DC.
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and audits.
• Direct daily clinic operations and manage EHR/practice management systems.
• Recruit, onboard, supervise non-clinical staff and onboarding logistics.
• Support growth planning, clinician recruitment, and new service lines.
• Oversee referrals, marketing, and online reputation.
