Job summary

Stellantis NV in Auburn, Alabama, is seeking an experienced Powertrain V&V Architect to lead validation of powertrain control systems. You will shape test strategies, develop plans, and guide global V&V teams to ensure quality, reliability, and performance.

You'll apply DFSS and SBT methodologies, drive validation KPIs, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver robust powertrain solutions for next-generation vehicles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Electrical, Mechanical, or System Engineering or related degree.
• 8 years of experience.
• Effective communication with team, customers, and management.
• Analytical problem-solving to troubleshoot complex issues.
• Self-motivated and capable of motivating a team.
• Strong team collaboration.
• Knowledge of ICE and electric automotive architecture.
• Knowledge of DFSS and SBT methodologies.

Responsibilities

• Define and lead test strategies.
• Develop and maintain detailed test plans, ensuring robust, traceable and requirement-compliant validation.
• Provide technical expertise to V&V teams through functional analysis, technical support and project guidance.
• Analyze and resolve complex technical issues in collaboration with multidisciplinary teams and partners.
• Ensure the quality and reliability of validation activities, based on test results, KPIs and validation reports.
• Structure and enhance testing methods and standards, driving continuous improvement and industrialization.
• Define required competencies for V&V activities and contribute to capability development.
• Design and deploy training programs at a global level.
• Contribute to validation planning, working closely with project teams to achieve QCDP targets.
