Stellantis NV in Auburn Hills is seeking a Development Engineer for Transmission, Driveline & Gear Reducer to analyze, develop, and validate driveline systems and integration into vehicles.

The role involves creating development and validation plans, executing tests in vehicle and simulation environments, and collaborating with calibration teams and engineering groups across the company. Travel is limited to select road trips.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field.
• Minimum 5 years of experience in engineering, Automatic Transmission/Driveline/ Electrified Powertrain hardware or controls.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; proficiency with MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Project.
• Highly motivated, self-directed, able to manage multiple complex projects.

Responsabilités

• Develop development and validation plans for transmission/driveline systems.
• Execute performance development and validation tests in vehicle and drive simulation environments.
• Collaborate with driveline torque distribution, powertrain, brake system calibrators and engineering teams.
• Support production release and change management processes across vehicle milestones.
