Job summary

Fox Powersports Peacock in Baldwin, MI seeks a Service Advisor to join the service lane and help build long-term customer relationships by delivering trusted, high-quality service experiences.

You will schedule appointments, greet customers, collect unit information, write up issues, and present clear repair estimates while maintaining accurate records and providing timely updates on progress.

Qualifications

• Two to four years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience and desire to work with technology to drive an exceptional customer experience.
• Excellent communication, organization, and follow‑up skills.
• Ability to multi‑task, prioritize, and manage time effectively.
• Valid driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Schedules service appointments.
• Greets customers in a timely, friendly manner and obtains unit information.
• Obtains customer and unit data prior to arrival when possible.
• Writes up customer's unit problems accurately and clearly on repair order.
• Refers to service history, inspects unit, and recommends additional needed service.
• Provides a complete and accurate written cost estimate for labor and parts.
• Checks on progress of repair throughout the day. Contacts customers regarding any changes in the estimate or promised time, explains cost and time requirements in detail, and gets proper authorization before any additional repairs are performed.
• Reviews repair orders to ensure that work is completed, and additional work and authorization is noted. Closes repair order as appropriate.
• Explains completed work and all charges to customers.
