Job summary

Fox Motors in Grand Rapids, MI is seeking a Powersports Service Advisor to develop trust with customers while coordinating service needs. You will schedule appointments, greet customers, document vehicle problems, and present repair orders with clear estimates.

The role requires automotive knowledge, strong communication, and a team-focused mindset to drive an exceptional customer experience in the service lane.

Qualifications

• 2-4 years related experience and/or training or equivalent education/experience.
• Ability to develop trust with customers and maintain long-term relationships.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to multi-task and manage time effectively.

Responsibilities

• Schedule service appointments and greet customers promptly.
• Obtain vehicle information and document issues clearly on repair orders.
• Reference service history, inspect vehicles, and recommend needed services.
• Provide accurate written estimates for labor and parts.
• Communicate progress and any changes in estimates to customers and obtain authorization.
