Job summary

The role requires a mechanical/auto eng degree or 8+ years of experience, plus 2+ years in powersports powertrains, and strong CAD, tolerance, and FMEA skills for off-road durability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical or Automotive Engineering (or 8+ years of applied engineering experience).
• 2+ years of mechanical design engineering experience in powersports or automotive powertrains.
• Experience integrating engine subsystems (intake, exhaust, cooling, fuel systems).
• Proficiency with 3D CAD modeling software and engineering tolerance analysis.

Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD packaging layouts and 2D drawings for intake, exhaust, cooling, and fuel subsystems.
• Establish part cost targets and optimize designs to meet business plans.
• Coordinate prototype fabrication, dyno testing, and installation trials with engineering teams.
• Apply CAE principles, tolerance stack-ups, and FMEA analyses to ensure durability under extreme off-road conditions.
• Support market quality investigations and engineer permanent design countermeasures for field concerns.
