Job summary

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in related engineering discipline required.
• Experience in Powersports or Automotive preferred.
• Leadership, coaching and mentoring abilities demonstrated.
• Ability to interact with staff and management; maintain confidentiality.
• Proficient in FTA, FMEA, dimensional tolerance analysis.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, judgement and prioritization skills.
• Competent in drawing/layout techniques; understanding of CAE principles.
• Ability to create plans and schedules.

Responsibilities

• Develop basic component and system layouts for ATV/SxS prototype vehicles using CAD to meet targets and manufacturing needs.
• Adhere to given cost targets for parts and optimize designs to achieve cost savings.
• Create and manage work schedules; coordinate resources; communicate project status.
• Generate ideas to evolve new technologies and mature ideas for development applications.
• Support quality themes and analyze root causes; develop C/M specs as needed.
