Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related discipline.
• 10+ years of engineering design experience, with 4+ years of supervisory/project leadership in powersports or automotive.
• Mastery of 3D CAD modeling (CATIA V5/V6), CAE principles, and tolerance stack-ups.
• Proven track record of taking complex vehicle mechanical designs from concept to mass production.
• Outstanding leadership, interpersonal communication, and mentoring skills.

Responsibilities

• Supervise a team of mechanical design engineers, contractors, and students across chassis and powertrain design.
• Lead 3D CAD modeling, 2D drafting, tolerance stack-ups, and FMEA analyses using CATIA.
• Establish design goals, conduct performance reviews, and manage engineering resource allocations.
• Coordinate prototype vehicle fabrication, testing events, and supplier technical correlation meetings.
• Drive root cause problem-solving and implement design countermeasures for market quality themes.
