Job summary

Sentry Insurance seeks a high-performing Powersports and Motorcycle Sales Manager to drive new business growth in the Powersports division. You will prospect, develop and manage motorcycle-focused accounts across the US, expanding market presence and agency relationships.

Responsibilities include leading territory strategy, delivering new business through multiple channels, collaborating with product management on offerings, and tracking market trends to stay competitive.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent work experience.
• 5+ years of field sales experience.
• Marketing knowledge from a marketing, PR, or communications background is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prospect, develop and maintain motorcycle-focused accounts for new business production.
• Manage the assigned US territory and/or countrywide areas for new business development of dealerships, affinity accounts, and motorcycle agents.
• Deliver new business sales through all distribution channels with an effective strategy for product distribution.
• Oversee marketing and sales activities effectiveness in area of responsibility.
• Collaborate with Product Management on motorcycle and powersports insurance products; propose product changes and process improvements.
• Monitor industry trends and competitiveness of current products.
• Work with corporate marketing on promotional, branding and content initiatives for the motorcycle niche and measure effectiveness.
• Research and establish marketing niches for motorcycle and powersports products.
