Job summary

American Honda Motor Co., Inc. is seeking an engineer to guide new technologies and mass production developments in the Power Products domain. You will mature concepts, create drawings, and drive projects from prototype to production with minimal supervision.

The role requires 2+ years of engineering experience, strong Catia skills, and the ability to lead small teams while collaborating with suppliers and research members. Travel may be required.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in related field.
• Minimum 2+ years engineering experience, preferably in Power Products or Powersports.
• Ability to guide small development teams and interact with staff/management.
• Must operate with high level of confidentiality.
• Familiarity with FTA, FMEA, and dimensional tolerance stacks.

Responsibilities

• Generate high level 2D/3D drawings using Catia to meet specifications.
• Lead prototype generation, engineering estimates, and supplier negotiations.
• Support on-site prototype builds and cross-functional collaboration.
• Drive project teams to meet deadlines and development milestones.
• Develop BOMs and track cost targets for new technologies.
