Butler Machinery is seeking a Service Manager for Fargo, ND to lead the Power Systems Service Department, driving exceptional customer service and efficient workflow. You will manage scheduling, progress, warranties, and customer communication while guiding a team of technicians and service staff.

You will develop staffing plans, monitor KPIs, review service documents for accuracy, and ensure safety standards are upheld.

Qualifications

• Two-year degree or equivalent experience preferred.
• Prior supervisory experience or Service Management Training preferred.
• Lead Yourself training preferred for internal candidates.
• Must possess a clean driving record.

Responsabilités

• Lead the daily operations of the Power Systems Service Department, ensuring exceptional customer service and efficient workflow management.
• Manage service scheduling, job progress, warranty administration, and customer communication.
• Drive customer satisfaction by proactively resolving concerns and service-related issues.
• Lead, coach, and develop service department employees, including hiring, performance management, training, and career development.
• Monitor KPIs and implement process improvements to support departmental goals and operational excellence.
• Develop business plans, staffing strategies, and service growth initiatives.
• Review estimates, quotes, work orders, and service documentation to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
• Manage manufacturer goodwill claims and customer dispute resolution while balancing customer and company interests.
• Ensure a safe, organized, and productive work environment by promoting and enforcing company safety standards.
• Champion Butler Machinery's mission, vision, and values in all aspects of the operations.
• Performs other duties as assigned.
• Organizes, communicates, and delegates responsibilities and priorities to ensure successful operation of the department.
• Provides regular and timely feedback recognizing employee performance, motivating employees and promoting self-development.
• Communicates with and coaches employees on assignments, providing technical expertise as needed.
• Selects, trains and develops employees consistent with department/division goals, providing coaching on career development
