Job summary

Ultipro in Texas is seeking a dynamic Power Systems Sales Representative to grow coverage for standby electric, oil and gas, and industrial power needs. You will focus on sales and rental of Caterpillar and Allied products, building relationships with current and prospective customers.

This role requires strong communication, negotiation skills, and a willingness to travel up to 20% across the territory. Bachelor's degree and several years in equipment sales are preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree from a four-year college or university.
• Minimum of three years’ experience in equipment sales.
• Experience in rental or heavy machinery is a plus.
• Strong knowledge of CAT and Allied products.
• Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong persuasion and negotiation skills.
• Proficient computer skills; CRM, DBS and databases experience.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Ability to handle several concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Familiar with web navigation and databases.

Responsibilities

• Prospect for new customers and generate sales leads.
• Work with marketing to develop and run sales campaigns.
• Travel within territory to call on customers.
• Demonstrate products emphasizing salient features.
• Prepare quotes, contracts, and delivery estimates.
• Maintain CRM data and track stock levels.
• Coordinate customer training and develop relationships.
• Attend trade shows and stay informed on industry trends.
