Job summary

Stored Energy Systems (SENS) in Longmont, CO is seeking a Sales Engineer to partner with channel and enterprise sales teams to continue our tremendous success positioning SENS’ line of power products and systems to solve customer challenges. You will blend engineering theory with practical application to tailor solutions that meet client needs and timelines.

The role requires engineering fundamentals, customer discovery, and collaboration with sales, engineering, and marketing teams.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in mechanical or electrical engineering or a related field.
3+ years of relevant experience.
Experience working in or with a sales organization in a customer facing capacity.
Ability to travel up to 40% for client meetings.
Clean Motor Vehicle Record.

Responsibilities

Develop a deep understanding of SENS’ products/systems including several case studies.
Participate in Customer Discovery calls.
Fully understand customer business and technical challenges.
Specify the best solution to solve customer problems.
Collaborate with engineers and product development teams to create customized or highly configured solutions that meet client specifications.
Participate in design reviews and ensure that proposed solutions align with client requirements and company capabilities.
Conduct product demonstrations, webinars, and training sessions to educate customers and foster long-term partnerships.
Assist Sales teams in presenting solutions and answering technical questions.
