Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering
• 3+ years of experience in power system protection across transmission, distribution, or industrial environments
• Experience with protection relays and protection schemes from any manufacturer
• Hands-on testing, commissioning and troubleshooting of power protection systems
• Experience using secondary injection or test equipment (Omicron, Doble, Megger)
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to technical audiences
• Willingness to travel ~5–10% for customer-site training
• Legally authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship

Responsibilities

• Deliver high‑quality instructor‑led and lab‑based training on power system protection fundamentals and relay applications
• Teach protection concepts such as CT/VT fundamentals, fault analysis, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting
• Customize existing course materials to meet customer and internal needs
• Support hands‑on lab environments and guide learners through real‑world protection scenarios
• Collaborate with engineering, product management, and services teams to align training content with product updates
