Job summary

Purple Drive Technologies in Columbus, OH is seeking an experienced training specialist to deliver technical and safety training to field technicians, customers, and service partners, and to develop hands-on labs.

Responsibilities include updating materials, teaching procedures for installation, commissioning, maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair, and maintaining labs and equipment while ensuring safety compliance; collaborate with engineering and field service teams to continually improve

Qualifications

• Associate degree or equivalent practical experience in Electrical/Electronics Technology.
• 5+ years hands-on electrical or mechanical installation, commissioning, or field service experience.
• Knowledge of UPS systems, switchgear, busway/busbar, and electrical power distribution.
• Strong presentation, communication, and technical training skills.
• Experience developing training materials and instructing adult learners.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office and virtual training platforms.
