Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering.
• 3+ years of experience with power system protection across transmission, distribution, or industrial environments.
• Protection relays and protection schemes from any manufacturer.
• Commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting of power protection systems.
• Hands-on use of secondary injection or test equipment (Omicron, Doble, or Megger).
• Explaining complex technical concepts clearly to technical audiences.
• Willingness to travel approximately 5–10% for occasional customer-site training.
• Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Delivering high‑quality, instructor‑led and lab‑based training on power system protection fundamentals and protection relay applications.
• Teaching protection concepts such as CT/VT fundamentals, fault analysis, commissioning, testing, and troubleshooting.
• Customizing existing course materials to meet customer and internal training needs.
• Supporting hands‑on lab environments and guiding learners through real‑world protection scenarios.
• Collaborating with engineering, product management, and services teams to ensure training content aligns with product updates and industry practices.
• Incorporating feedback and continuously improving course delivery and participant experience.
• Participating in the evolution of training methods, including hybrid, digital, and AI‑enabled learning tools.
