Job summary

You will mentor engineers, lead human performance initiatives, and travel about 25% as required. The role emphasizes safety, technical excellence, and effective knowledge transfer.

Qualifications

• Excellent teaching, training, and mentoring skills.
• In-depth knowledge of relay settings, protection design, and coordination studies (bus, line, transformer, capacitor).
• Strong writing, documentation, and oral skills.
• Ability to work independently, take ownership, learn new skills, and collaborate in a team.
• Willingness to travel a minimum of 25% of the time.

Responsibilities

• Provide, create, teach, follow, and maintain technical training for protective relay systems based on standards and best practices.
• Contribute as a technical expert in protection relay application and theory.
• Train individuals on standards and best practices related to protection design and relay testing.
• Develop new technical processes and procedures with emphasis on protection relaying and new technologies.
