Job summary

RESA Power is seeking Service Field Techs (Power Systems) in Wixom, MI to perform testing, maintenance and repair of high and low voltage equipment. Technicians will inspect, troubleshoot, and data-log on-site, ensuring safety and regulatory compliance.

Positions include Tech I-IV with opportunities to advance. Must have a High School diploma/GED and strong electrical knowledge; travel up to 50% may apply and benefits are provided through the union.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED and related experience as entry requirement.
• Knowledge of safety standards such as NEC, NFPA, OSHA, NETA.
• Ability to read schematics and interpret electrical data.
• Good communication and customer service with peers and clients.
• Strong computer skills and basic MS Office knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot, start-up and data collection for low/med/high voltage systems.
• Test and inspect switchgear and circuit breakers up to 500kV class.
• Maintain, test and repair transformers and related equipment.
• Perform maintenance, testing and repair on circuit breakers and safety devices.
• Rotate on-call duties and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Comply with all regulatory safety laws and procedures.
