Job summary

Ultipro is hiring Field Tech/Power Systems Technicians to service and test power transmission equipment in Denver. You will inspect, test, start-up and troubleshoot LV to HV systems, including switchgear up to 500 kV, and work with SF6 as needed.

Positions vary by level; Tech I requires 1+ year in a related field, Tech II/III require more experience and leadership responsibilities. Safety and on-site availability are essential.

Qualifications

• High School diploma/GED required; 1+ year for Tech I.
• Knowledge of NETA, NEC, OSHA and NFPA.
• Experience with MCCs, breakers, relay/oil testing preferred.

Responsibilities

• Inspect, test, troubleshoot and collect data on LV/MV systems.
• Perform testing of switchgear and circuit breakers.
• Assist maintenance and repair of transformers and related equipment.
• Adhere to electrical safety procedures and regulatory standards.
