Job summary

U.S. Electrical Testing is seeking a Test Technician to lead inspection, testing, troubleshooting, maintenance, repair, and startup of low and medium voltage electrical distribution equipment in field and shop settings.

The role requires knowledge of complex distribution systems and test equipment, with local, regional, and national travel; international travel is preferred. Safety and teamwork are emphasized across projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years of electrical experience with a High School Diploma/GED.
• Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and manuals.
• Proficient in operating protection relays, breakers, transformers and switchgear.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate, lead, and support multiple projects onsite and in-house using company software.
• Test low/medium voltage cables, transformers, switchgear, breakers and relays.
• Maintain documentation from order receipt to invoice.
• Participate in on-call duty and respond to emergencies promptly.
• Promote teamwork and continuous improvement.
