Qualifications

• Graduate-level candidate in Electrical Engineering or related field with strong math and programming skills.
• Experience or coursework in power systems, grid analysis, or related topics is preferred.
• Ability to learn quickly and apply programming to engineering problems.

Responsibilities

• Review load forecasts ranging from next day to 10 years and run contingency simulations in TARA or PSS®E.
• Identify potential grid constraints and summarize findings for the team.
• Contribute to the development of transmission facilities or Operating Guides.
• Present your summer project findings to department leaders and executives.
