Job summary

PJM Interconnection, LLC is seeking an Engineer to lead interconnection analyses and guide development projects through the PJM New Service Request Cycle study process. You will evaluate customer requests for compliance with NERC standards, FERC directives, PJM and transmission owner planning principles.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering, Electrical Engineering or equivalent work experience.
• 3+ years of experience with Power Systems Analysis.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work products.
• Experience in quantitative and qualitative analysis.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.
• Ability to troubleshoot and solve complex problems.

Responsibilities

• Lead interconnection analyses to support development projects through the PJM New Service Request Cycle study process.
• Evaluate customer requests for compliance with NERC standards, FERC directives, and PJM/TO planning principles.
• Conduct studies including generator deliverability, system reliability, load flow, short circuit and dynamic stability analyses.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, manage consultants, and develop technical evaluations and reports.
