The role emphasizes coordinating with transmission owners, project developers, and PJM divisions to deliver interconnection studies, schedules, and agreements while ensuring reliable grid operations.

Qualifications

• BS in Electrical Engineering or equivalent, 5+ years field experience.
• 5+ years field experience with substations and transmission line construction/maintenance.
• Ability to work with engineering and project teams.
• Experience with PJM operations, markets and planning is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison between PJM and stakeholders for design and scheduling of new connections.
• Develop and coordinate project work plans for generation and transmission systems.
• Manage timelines and milestones from design to interconnection agreement.
• Coordinate system reinforcement requirements with PJM divisions.
• Develop interconnection studies and related agreements.
• Monitor project management methods and adopt new progress monitoring tech.
• Develop and implement tactical plans aligned with division strategy.
