Job summary

Generac Power Systems is seeking a Power Solutions Manager to lead technical sales support for Industrial products, with emphasis on the Modular Power System and high-kW/clean energy solutions. The role collaborates with Direct-Sales Teams and Distributors to win specifications and revenue.

The ideal candidate has a bachelor’s degree, five years of technical sales experience or completion of Generac’s rotational program, and engineering credentials (Electrical or Mechanical).

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience.
• 5 years technical sales experience or completion of Generac’s rotational program.
• Electrical or Mechanical Engineering degree required.
• Power generation or engine generator paralleling experience.
• Occasional travel is expected.

Responsibilities

• Promote and provide technical onsite and remote sales support of Generac Industrial products with focus on Modular Power System.
• Assist Direct-Sales Teams and Distributors on projects and coordinate with electrical engineering and construction firms to drive specifications.
• Conduct training seminars for the electrical engineering community using a pre-packaged curriculum.
• Provide real time voice-of-customer feedback to Sales Management and Product Management.
• Travel for site visits, events, and customer engagements as needed.
