Job summary

Canadian Solar, a leading solar and energy storage company, is seeking a Director of Business Development, Power Solutions. This role focuses on Hyperscaler relationships and turnkey power solutions for data centers, including BESS-backed behind-the-meter and microgrid deployments.

You will collaborate with Data Center Architects, Electrical Engineers, and Procurement Leaders to structure multi-technology deals and drive market adoption of our reliable, high-quality power infrastructure

Qualifications

10+ years in technical sales or business development in energy/critical infrastructure.
Proven track record closing multi-million-dollar deals with hyperscalers or EPCs.
Strong knowledge of data center power stack: generation, conversion, UPS, controls.
Experience with battery energy storage solutions (BESS), including behind-the-meter.

Responsibilities

Map hyperscale account strategy with stakeholders in Energy Procurement, Site Selection, and Critical Infrastructure Engineering.
Structure deals involving BESS, natural gas generation, and power conversion.
Develop behind-the-meter and microgrid solutions for data centers.
Engage with technology partners and manage supply chain relationships.
Lead high-level technical sales engagements and white-board power architectures.
Collect market feedback to inform product strategy and roadmap.
