Yancey Bros. Co. is seeking a dynamic Sales Rep for Rental to develop lasting customer relationships and grow the rental business in Georgia. You will work with Rental Coordinators across the organization to pursue profitable opportunities and expand the equipment footprint.

The role emphasizes strategic growth, collaboration, and a strong customer focus. Travel is extensive, and safety training is required to maintain our high standards.

Responsibilities

Develop and execute Yancey Power Systems rental sales growth targets and orders via key accounts and opportunities.
Develop growth strategies and map customer penetration within the territory.
Drive volume, mix, penetration, and timing to meet targets.
Collaborate with Rental Coordinators and other divisions to maintain strong relationships.
Call on consultant engineers to influence specs toward Cat Electric Power offerings.
Other duties as assigned.

What You Will Be Doing:

As a Yancey Power Systems Sales Rep for Rental the selected individual will be charged with securing and developing lasting and loyal relationships with customers. Short-term, seasonal, and nontraditional opportunities should also be assessed and pursued when profitable. With a primary focus on the rental market sector, the YPS Territory Sales Rep promotes all products and services of Yancey Power Systems within an assigned geographic territory. Responsibilities include both rentals and used equipment sales. The person in this position must work closely with the Rental Coordinators and personnel of other divisions to ensure that solid relationships are maintained by the Yancey sales force and our customers.

Primary Responsibilities:

Responsible for helping develop and execute Yancey Power Systems rental sales growth targets and orders operating plan, via penetration of existing key accounts and new project key opportunities.
Development of growth strategies, including sales initiatives, and customer mapping/penetration
Drive aggressive growth targets: volume, mix, penetration, and timing
Participate in cross-functional business activities
Call on consultant engineer community to drive job specifications towards the Cat Electric Power product offerings.
Other duties as assigned

Additional Responsibilities/ Training Requirements:

Yancey Required Safety Training and Annual recertifications
Must have a valid class C Georgia driver’s license.
Must have a qualified driving record and physical.
Must follow the Yancey Safe Driving Program
Complete additional tasks as assigned by management

Who We Are Looking For:

To be successful in this position you should have prior experience in sales with strong leadership skills, a competitive nature and initiative. This position also requires someone who enjoys talking to people, developing relationships with customers and working in a team environment.

Education/Experience:

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent experience.
Four year college degree from an accredited institution or equivalent preferred.
Must have 3 – 5 years industry experience.

This person will travel over 75% and will be participate in the vehicle allowance program.

Frequently pushing/pulling, reaching (both above and below shoulder), bending/twisting, walking, standing, repetition – hand/wrist simple and firm grasping.
Occasionally crouching/stooping/squatting, crawling/kneeling, climbing/stepping.
May be subject to extreme weather conditions including but not limited to extreme heat, cold, rain, snow, and ice. Equipment, tools and job site may be very loud requiring hearing protection. Environment may include vibrations, strong odors, moving mechanical parts, exposure to electrical shock, flammable liquids and gases, oils and solvents, working on platforms or equipment over 4 feet from the ground. Appropriate PPE maybe required and mandated by Yancey Bros. Co. or the customer.
