Job summary

HDR is seeking a Power Program Manager to lead planning and execution of power infrastructure programs and projects for clients. You will manage a diverse team of technical and non-technical professionals and act as a trusted advisor to client leadership on delivery strategies and governance.

This role emphasizes strong communication, client relations, and capability to oversee complex programs with stringent budget and schedule controls. Travel ~25% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Construction Management, Planning, Sciences, Business Administration, or a closely related field.
• 3+ years of program management experience in a deputy role to the Program Manager for delivery of one or more programs with a cumulative capital value of $200M+; or 5+ years as PM/Project Controls Manager for programs with $200M+ capital.
• 10+ years of project management experience directing a multi-disciplinary team for delivery of at least two programs, each with a capital value of $50M+

Responsibilities

• Lead multidisciplinary teams to deliver T&D, power generation, renewable energy projects.
• Serve as primary client contact for scope, contract management, program performance, work planning, staffing, etc.
• Advise clients on technical, regulatory, strategic planning, delivery strategies, and financial aspects of power programs.
• Direct and manage HDR staff and subconsultants including engineering, project controls, routing and siting, environmental, real estate, and more.
