JE Dunn is seeking a Preconstruction Services Director 1 – Power to lead the estimating and preconstruction function for major natural gas, thermal power, and related energy infrastructure projects. You will oversee teams, set pursuit strategies, and align with business development, operations, OEMs and trade partners to drive profitable outcomes.
The role requires deep power generation expertise, EPC delivery knowledge, and proven leadership of high‑performing teams across multi‑discipline
Qualifications
- 10+ years construction estimating experience with leadership
- Experience leading multidisciplinary power project pursuits (pursuit through preconstruction)
- Strong knowledge of EPC contracting and risk management
Responsibilities
- Lead preconstruction for major natural gas, thermal power and energy infra projects.
- Develop and execute power market preconstruction strategy and budgets.
- Manage client and design-team relationships during preconstruction phase.
- Oversee takeoffs, pricing, and risk assessment with senior leadership.
- Mentor preconstruction teams and drive continuous improvement.
