Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Project Director – Power Market to lead the delivery of natural gas and thermal power generation projects. You will provide strategic oversight, guide teams across full lifecycles, and ensure safety, cost, and schedule objectives are met while maintaining strong client relations.

The role requires extensive travel and locations preferences include Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO, with flexibility based on experience.

Qualifications

15+ years construction management experience (Preferred).
5+ years people management experience (Required).
Proven track record managing major power generation projects from pursuit through closeout.
Experience with EPC delivery and risk management.

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership for the assigned project or work program across all phases of the project lifecycle.
Leads safety culture and implements corrective actions.
Builds and maintains client relationships at a leadership level for new and repeat business.
Oversees project and schedule review to ensure contractual obligations are met.
Manages subcontractor strategy and key partnerships to meet project results.
Leads preconstruction discussions and develops contractual obligations with clients.
