Job summary

JE Dunn Construction’s Advanced Facilities Group seeks a Project Director, Power Market to lead delivery of natural gas and thermal power projects. You will shape strategy, guide teams through complex technical and commercial challenges, manage client relations, and ensure safety, schedule and budget objectives across the project lifecycle.

Preference for located in Atlanta, GA or Kansas City, MO with extensive travel.

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in construction management, engineering or related field (or equivalent experience).
15+ years construction management experience (preferred).
5+ years people management experience (required).
Proven track record leading major power generation projects (preferred).

Responsibilities

Provides direction and leadership for the project lifecycle from start to closeout.
Leads safety culture and ensures injury-free environment with mentoring.
Assists senior management with strategy development and policy implementation.
Develops and executes strategic direction for the work program.
Manages client relationships and seeks repeat business opportunities.
Oversees risk management, change orders, and contingency planning.
Leads preconstruction discussions and collaborates on contractual obligations.
Ensures staffing aligns with project needs and schedules.
