Ormat Technologies, Inc. seeks a Plant Operator for the Puna Power Plant in Pāhoa, HI. The role focuses on safe, efficient operation of power generation equipment, monitoring systems, and responding to alarms per SOPs and safety procedures.

Responsibilities include maintaining operations, reviewing data, planning activities, and performing PMs and training support. Shift work, including weekends and holidays, is required to ensure continuous plant generation.

Formación

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• Must read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Valid driver’s license required.
• Proficient with MS Excel, Outlook and internet tools.
• Experience as a Plant Operator or with similar duties is a plus.

Responsabilidades

• Operate and monitor plant equipment during normal operations, maintenance and emergencies.
• Adhere to safety procedures and complete operator qualifications on time.
• Review operating data, troubleshoot indications and take corrective actions.
• Maintain logs and optimize production to meet plant goals.
• Assist in planning plant activities and maintaining procedures.
