Job summary

EthosEnergy is seeking an on-site Power Plant Operator/Maintenance Technician to operate, maintain and troubleshoot complex power plant equipment. The role covers gas and steam turbines, HRSGs, pumps and boilers, with a focus on safety, reliability and regulatory compliance.

The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with mechanical, electrical and instrumentation systems, plus the ability to read drawings, run data, and perform routine and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required; AA/technical preferred.
• 2–4 years related experience or training preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair power plant equipment (gas turbine, steam turbine, generators, HRSG, pumps, valves, etc.).
• Perform piping and conduit installation for upgrades and modifications.
• Read meters and gauges to verify operating conditions and record data.
• Maintain equipment by tightening fittings, replacing packing, gaskets, valves, and gauges.
• Coordinate purchasing and procurement for timely repairs; assist with outages and maintenance planning.
• Operate water treatment equipment and monitor water chemistry for plant systems.
