Ormat Technologies, Inc. operates geothermal and recovered energy-based power plants. The Plant Operator ensures safe and efficient plant operation according to Plant Safety Procedures and Standard Operating Procedures, monitoring systems, alarms and production flow.

The role includes reviewing data, troubleshooting, maintaining logs, and supporting maintenance and scheduling activities, with overtime, weekends and 12-hour shifts as needed.

Formación

• Requires ability to read, write and speak English proficiently.
• Must understand procedures and instructions from written materials.
• Strong safety mindset and willingness to undergo training and certifications.

Responsabilidades

• Operate power plant equipment safely and efficiently per SOPs.
• Monitor plant systems and alarms; take corrective actions as needed.
• Review operating data and troubleshoot abnormal indications.
• Maintain logs of plant activities and perform preventive maintenance tasks.
• Participate in planning, scheduling, and procedure updates.
