Job summary

NAES Corporation's Gordonsville Power Station in Gordonsville, VA seeks an Inventory Procurement / Warehouse Specialist to manage procurement, inventory control, shipping, receiving and warehouse activities for reliable plant operation.

You will process purchase requisitions and orders, maintain vendor and inventory records, monitor supplier performance, and use SAP to manage purchasing and inventory transactions, working with maintenance and operations teams.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Logistics, Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred.
• Two years of inventory control, shipping, receiving, and warehouse experience in an industrial environment.
• At least one year of mechanical trade or industrial maintenance experience.
• General accounting experience with purchase requisitions, purchase orders, and accounts payable.
• SAP experience is preferred.
• Forklift operation certification or ability to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Procurement: manage purchase requisitions, approvals, POs, and acquisition of materials and services.
• Maintain vendor, fixed-asset, requisition, and procurement records.
• Develop supplier relationships, place orders, and follow up on deliveries.
• Review POs, receipts, invoices, cost coding, and documentation; resolve discrepancies.
• Track procurement and inventory costs; support budgeting and cost-control activities.
• Generate SAP reports for purchasing activity, open orders, inventory levels, and vendor performance.
• Coordinate with operations and maintenance to source parts, tools, and services.
