Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with extensive heavy industrial power plant experience. You will lead project definitions, budgets, schedules and client communications, ensuring profitability and timely payments.

Responsibilities include managing changes, coordinating with engineering teams, and delivering on project milestones while mentoring junior PMs. Travel up to 10% is expected.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• Thirteen+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP (PMI), CCM or DBIA certification within 12 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedules and budgets.
• Prepare statements of work and work breakdown structures.
• Manage project finances and profitability.
• Review invoicing and subcontractor payments to ensure timely payment.
• Monitor risks, manage changes and communicate deadlines.
• Coordinate with engineers, construction managers and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentor less experienced project managers.
