Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager for heavy industrial power projects. You will define, schedule, and budget projects, ensuring profitability and timely client billings.

Responsibilities include coordinating with engineering, subcontractors, and clients, managing changes, and mentoring junior PMs. This role requires 13+ years of experience and PMP/CCM/DBIA certification within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required.
• 13+ years of relevant work experience.
• PMP, CCM or DBIA certification required within 12 months.
• Significant design-build/EPC experience with heavy industrial power clients (preferred).

Responsibilities

• Create project definitions, schedules, budgets and objectives.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Prepare statements of work with work breakdown structures and gain approvals.
• Review and approve subcontractor/vendor invoices to ensure timely payment.
• Monitor project status and escalate risks as needed.
• Manage changes using change management protocols.
• Coordinate submittals with agencies and stakeholders.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
• Mentor less experienced Project Managers.
