Job summary

The Perry Group, Ltd., a CDM Smith company, is seeking an experienced design-build/EPC Project Manager with substantial background in heavy industrial power plants. Responsibilities include defining project scope, budgets and schedules, managing costs, and coordinating with clients and agencies to ensure timely delivery.

Candidates should have 13+ years of PM experience, a Bachelor’s degree, and PM-related certifications (PMP/CCM/DBIA) within 12 months.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 13+ years of relevant PM experience.
• PM certification such as PMP, CCM or DBIA required within 12 months.
• Experience with design-build/EPC heavy industrial power projects.
• Strong budgeting, scheduling and change management skills.

Responsibilities

• Define project scope, schedule, and budget.
• Prepare statements of work and WBS with budgets.
• Manage project costs and profitability.
• Ensure timely client invoicing and payments.
• Process subcontractor invoices for timely payment.
• Monitor risk and escalate as needed.
• Manage changes per change management protocol.
• Communicate deadlines and tasks to project team.
• Develop project schedule and in-house budgets.
• Lead meetings with stakeholders.
• Provide guidance to engineering for reviews.
• Coordinate submittals to agencies.
• Prepare closeout meetings and lessons learned.
• Prepare monthly reports and bid packages.
• Maintain project documents.
• Mentor junior PMs.
