Quanta Power Solutions, LLC is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineering Intern to support design, inspection, maintenance, and improvement of power generation facilities. You will gain hands-on exposure to industrial structures, foundations, site development, and engineering projects within a power plant environment.

The role offers exposure to field inspections, drawings, calculations, and documentation, with collaboration across operations and engineering teams.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Structural Engineering, or a related field.
• Basic understanding of structural analysis and mechanics of materials.
• Familiarity with engineering drawings and Microsoft Office.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to work in both office and industrial plant environments.

Responsibilities

• Support civil and structural engineering projects and plant improvement initiatives.
• Assist with structural drawings, calculations, specifications, and technical documentation.
• Participate in field inspections and condition assessments of plant structures and equipment foundations.
• Assist with site development, drainage, concrete, steel, and structural evaluations.
• Support engineering analyses for modifications, repairs, and capital projects.
• Review contractor and vendor drawings and technical submittals.
• Collaborate with operations, maintenance, construction, and engineering teams.
• Follow plant safety procedures and applicable industry codes and standards.
