Job summary

Quanta Infrastructure Solutions Group, LLC (QISG) is seeking a Structural Engineering Intern to support design and construction activities for large energy infrastructure projects, including substations and transmission lines. You will assist with load development, framing design, foundation design, and permitting support, mainly in the office with occasional site visits.

Qualifications

• Pursuing a bachelor's degree in civil engineering with a focus on structural design.
• Completed coursework in structures, concrete, and steel.
• Familiarity with structural modeling software such as RISA or STAAD.

Responsibilities

• Assist in preparing structural design drawings and specifications.
• Support framing and foundation design calculations under supervision.
• Help coordinate structural member and connection design for project plans.
• Participate in developing cost estimates and project documentation.
• Collaborate with engineers and construction managers to meet project goals.
• Perform basic research and prepare reports or presentations as needed.
• Attend team meetings and learn DB and EPC delivery methods.
