Job summary

Reworld Waste in Florida seeks an Auxiliary Operator to support the facility control room, operating and inspecting power plant systems to ensure safe and efficient waste disposal processes.

You will monitor boilers and auxiliary equipment, read data from meters, perform sampling and chemistry testing, and operate heavy equipment during rotating day/night shifts. A high school diploma and 2–3 years’ boiler experience are required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years’ boiler or heavy industrial equipment experience.
• Ability to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems safely.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment and read meters.
• Conduct sampling and chemistry testing as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment.
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and pit mixes.
• Perform other duties to ensure safe operations.
