Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC seeks an Auxiliary Operator to work with the control room to safely operate and inspect power plant systems in a heavy industrial environment. You will monitor mechanical and electrical equipment, read meters, and ensure the reliability of the facility’s disposal process.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of relevant experience, shift rotation, and a 2nd MA Fireman license or higher. Training and safety programs are provided.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2–3 years’ experience operating heavy industrial equipment preferred.
• Must be able to work a rotating shift schedule and on-call coverage.
• 2nd MA Fireman license or higher required.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently (boilers, air pollution control systems, ash systems, heavy equipment).
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, conveyors).
• Read data from meters, gauges, and instruments to identify trends or disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment and perform sampling or water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Perform other duties to ensure safe, efficient facility operations.
