Job summary

Reworld Waste is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to join our facility control room. You will operate and inspect power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure continuous disposal process operations.

Responsibilities include monitoring boilers, pollution control, and auxiliary equipment; reading meters and gauges, performing sampling and water treatment as required; and safely operating cranes, skid steers, loaders, and forklifts while covering rotating shifts and on-call duties.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• 2–3 years' experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work rotating shifts and on-call coverage.
• 2nd MA Fireman license or higher.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems following safety procedures.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors).
• Read data from meters and gauges to identify trends or potential disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Take on additional duties to ensure safe and efficient facility operations.
