Job summary

Reworld is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to work with our facility control room, operating and inspecting power plant systems safely and efficiently to ensure optimal performance of our industrial disposal process.

The role requires 2-3 years of experience with heavy industrial equipment, the ability to read data from meters and gauges, and the willingness to work a rotating shift schedule. We offer competitive pay and comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• 2-3 years' experience operating heavy industrial equipment.
• Ability to work a rotating shift schedule.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems in accordance with safety operating procedures.
• Monitor and inspect boiler plant auxiliary equipment (pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators, electrical devices).
• Read and interpret data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends or potential equipment disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment.
• Perform various sampling, chemistry testing, and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Maintain correct levels of refuse-fuel and ensure appropriate refuse mix in designated pits and areas.
