Job summary

Reworld Waste, LLC in Spring Hill, FL is seeking an Auxiliary Operator to join our facility team. You will operate and inspect power plant systems, monitor auxiliary equipment, and perform sampling and water treatment as needed to support our carbon-negative sustainability goals.

The role requires 2-3 years of experience with boilers and heavy industrial equipment, a high school diploma, and the ability to work rotating day/night shifts. Safety and compliance are essential in daily operations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 2-3 years’ experience operating a boiler and heavy industrial equipment.
• Experience with chemistry testing is a plus.
• Must be able to work rotating shifts.

Responsibilities

• Operate and inspect power plant systems per safety operating procedures.
• Monitor boiler plant auxiliary equipment: pumps, motors, fans, dampers, air compressors, valves, mixers, conveyors, turbine generators and electrical devices.
• Read data from meters, gauges, and industrial measuring tools to identify trends or disruptions.
• Monitor air pollution control equipment and maintain safe operations.
• Perform sampling and water treatment as required.
• Safely operate heavy industrial mobile equipment (cranes, skid steers, loaders, forklifts).
• Maintain correct refuse-fuel levels and mix in designated pits and areas.
